What I found out from those that had owned both is the following.... 1) They are very similar.... 2) AT settings are pretty good right out of the box. The LVS32 wasn't. 3) The LVS32 had pretty serious ghost tree issues..... but so does my AT. 4) The edge went to AT... but not by much. The primary difference between the Active Target from Lowrance and the LiveScope from Garmin is that you get a narrower cone with the Lowrance unit. This sonar device does not cover as much area when compared with the Garmin sonar.
